Comment (Production): 1864 - 1865 OVER 2,000 TONS OF SORTED ORE AND 2,000 TONS OF ORE TREATED AT THE MINE. NO PRODUCTION REPORTED.

Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: AREA UNDERLAIN BY SLIGHTLY METAMORPHOSED VOLCANIC ROCKS AND CHERT. AREA IS NEAR CREST OF LARGE ANTICLINE, TRENDS NW, PLUNGES GENTLY SE. OVERTURNED WEST LIMB OF ANTICLINE IS CUT OFF BY PINEY THRUST.

Comment (Deposit): ORE ZONE IS EXPOSED 125 FT. ALONG MAIN LEVEL. COPPER - BEARING PART OF SHOOT IS RESTRICTED TO PART OF SHEAR ZONE WHICH STRIKES N 15 W.

Comment (Workings): DEPOSIT IS DEVELOPED FOR 250 FT. ALONG DIP BY WORKINGS ON 4 LEVELS: ADIT LEVEL ELEV. 1958 FT., INTERMEDIATE LEVEL ELEV. 1931 FT., MAIN LEVEL 1900 FT., AND BOTTOM LEVEL 1858 FT. NUMEROUS PITS, SHALLOW SHAFTS, AND 785 FT. OF DRIFTS, CROSSCUTS AND INCLINES.
