Comment (Production): ESTIMATED PRODUCTION IS OVER $4,000,000. LAST PERIOD OF OPERATION 1939-1944 YIELDING 35,215 OZ. GOLD AND 8219 OZ. SILVER FROM A TOTAL OF 248,481 TONS OF ORE, OR A GROSS OF ABOUT $1,242,000. PROPERTY IDLE SINCE 1944 BUT IS NO MEANS EXHAUSTED OF ORE AND AWAITS MORE FAVORABLE ECONOMIC CONDITIONS.

Comment (Deposit): INCLUDED IN ABOUT 5-1/3 SQ. MILES BELONGING TO PAC. MNG. CO., IN WHICH ARE ALSO LOCATED THE FRENCH, EVANS AND QUEEN SPECIMEN MINES. ORE MINERALS ARE CHIEFLY PYRITE, ARSENOPYRITE, NATIVE GOLD WITH MINOR CHALCOPYRITE, SPHALERITE, GALENA, NICCOLITE AND MILLERITE. COPPER IS THE ONLY OTHER MINERAL RECOVERED OTHER THAN GOLD OR SILVER. ERYTHRITE AND DANAITE, BOTH CONTAINING COBALT HAVE BEEN FOUND BUT PRESUMABLY ARE RARE AND WELL DISSEMINATED AND NO ATTEMPT HAS BEEN MADE TO RECOVER NICKEL OR COBALT.
