Comment PRINCIPAL WORKING IS A 470 FT. INCLINED SHAFT WITH 4 LEVELS AND SEVERAL THOUSAND FEET OF DRIFTS. 130 FT. DRIFT ADIT. VEIN STOPED DISCONTINUOUSLY NEARLY 3000 FT. BETWEEN SURFACE & 300 FT. LEVEL MAIN ORE SHOOT WAS 400 FEET LONG NEAR THE SURFACE, SEVERAL OTHER SHOOTS, ONE OVER 100 FEET LONG.

META SEDIMENTS ARE PART OF THE CALAVERAS GROUP. VEIN SYSTEM IS INTERSECTED AND ACCOMPANIED BY A FINE-GRAINED GREENISH GRANITIC DIKE APPROXIMATING QUARTZ-DIORITE. CASTELLO ( 1921 ) DESCRIBES A SLATE FOOTWALL & DIORITE HANGING WALL.
