Comment GEOL.DESC: SANDY METASEDIMENTS HAVE BEEN INTRUDED BY GREENSTONE DIKES AND SILLS 1-3 FT THICK. VEIN AVE 1.5-2 FT THICK, CHIEFLY BANDED QUARTZ. ORE SHOOTS ARE 30 - 75 FT WIDE AND PITCH ABOUT 45 DEG. STRIKE AND DIP OF SLATY CLEAVAGE NEAR THE SHAFT IS ROUGHLY PARALLEL TO THE VEIN AND TO THE BEDDING PLANES.
