Comment (Production): LITTLE RECORDED OF EARLY HISTORY. MODERATE PRODUCTION RECORDED 1938-1951, TOTAL OF 5239 TONS OF ORE HAVING YIELDED 1204 OZ. GOLD, A LITTLE LEAD AND COPPER AND 331 OZ. SILVER. AVERAGE YIELD PER TON HAS BEEN BETWEEN $8 AND $8.50 ALTHOUGH SOME POCKETS OF ORE RUN AS HIGH AS 3 OZ. PER TON. STILL WORKED INTERMITTENTLY BY PERMIT MINING CO.
