Comment (Geology): BANDED LENTICULAR CHERT, INTERBEDDED WITH SHALE. ; GEOL.DESC: CHERT IS MORE OR LESS REPLACED AND IMPREGNATED WITH MANGANITE. CONSIDERABLE CLAY-LIKE AND SOAPSTONE-LIKE MATERIAL ACCOMPANIES ORE. PERSISTANT QUARTZ VEIN WAS SAMPLED BUT SHOWED NO VALUES OF IMPORTANCE.
