Comment (Geology): THE LODE IS A SEMICIRCULAR MASS OF SHATTERED OXIDIZED QUARTZITE RECEMENTED BY QUARTZ AND CARRIES AU AND AG. QUARTZITE IS MUCH SHATTERED AND SHOWS SCHISTOSE STRUCTURE IN PLACES.

Comment (Workings): BOTTOM OF THE SHAFT IS NEAR THE BASE OF THE QUARTZITE.
