Comments

Comment (Workings): MINE WORKINGS CONSIST OF 3 ADITS, A SHAFT, AND SOME OPEN CUTS. LOWER (NO 3) ADIT WAS ABOUT 900 M LONG, MIDDLE (NO. 2) ABOUT 275 M, UPPER (NO. 1) ABOUT 100 M. BULLION MINE ON NORTHWESTERN EXTENSION OF CRYSTAL VEIN. ALL WORKING INACESSABLE IN 1956.; A FEW OPEN PITS

Comment (Geology): COUNTRY ROCK IS INTRUDED BY SMALL DIKES OF TOURMALINE-BEARING APLITE. NEAR THE ORE THE ROCK IS CUT BY IRREGULAR VEINS CARRING TOURMALINE, QUARTZ, AND PYRITE.

Comment (Reserve-Resource): MAP SHOWS STOPED AREA CONTAINED ABOUT 50,000 ST ASSUMING 4 FT STOPE WIDTH PROVIDING AN ESTIMATED TOTAL PRODUCTION OF 30,000 ST. UNSTOPED GROUND IN PRODUCTIVE AREA TOTALS ABOUT 80,000 ST (4 FT. WIDTH). RESOURCES ARE ESTIMATED TO BE 50,000 ST AT THE AVERAGE GRADE OF MATERIAL PRODUCED FROM THE LOWER (NO. 3) ADIT. RECENT PRODUCTION MAY HAVE SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED THIS FIGURE.

Comment (Commodity): METAL CONTENT OF VEIN DECREASES EASTWARD

Comment (Production): PRODUCTION WAS INTERMITTANT BETWEEN 1905-1947. MINE WAS ACTIVE IN EARLY 1960'S BUT PRODUCTION NOT AVAILABLE

Comment (Development): 2 PATENED CLAIMS: BULLION, W BULLION. 1905 A 150-TON CONCENTRATOR WAS INSTALLED

Comment (Deposit): ADIT 2 A SULFIDE TUNNEL, MINED FOR CU AND PRECIOUS METALS, HIGH GRADE PODS; ADIT 3 CARBONATE TUNNEL, METAL CONTENT OF THE VEIN DECREASES EASTWARD;

Comment (Location): INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1954)
