Comment (Workings): Current mining operations are primarily dump leaching activities, with recovery of copper from leach solutions using conventional solvent extraction-electrowinning (SX-EW) technology.

Comment (Ownership): Mines Id Also Listed As 200142 When Owned/Operated By Duval.

Comment (General): Lang et al, 1989 describe the Wallapai mining district as 6 by 20 km, the extent of large brecciated, polymetallic quartz sulfide veins. Host rocks for the porphyry copper-moly deposit are Precambrian felsic and mafic rocks, and the Laramide Ithaca Peak stocks. Lang and Eastoe, 1988 describe polymetalic quartz veins around the Mineral Park porphyry that produced gold, silver, lead, zinc, and copper from 1863 through 1940's, the most significant of which were the Tennessee-Schuylkill and Golconda mines.
