GRANITIC RX MAINLY COARSE-GRAINED GRANODIORITE. MINERALIZATION ZONE CONTAINS ABUNDANT SULFIDES AND SMALL BODIES OF FINE GRAINED TACTITE W DISSEMINATED SCHEELITE. SCHISTS HAVE BEEN INVADED BY BASIC DIKES. SURFACE ROCK OF RED LAKE PEAK STAINED BY IRON OXIDE. GENERAL STRIKE OF SCHSTOSITY IS N. ; GEOL.DESC: MINE IS LOCATED IN CONTACT ZONE BETWEEN METAMORPHOSED SEDIMENTS ON THE WEST AND GRANITIC ROCKS ON THE EAST. METAMORPHIC ZONE CONSISTS PREDOMIANTLY OF MICA SCHIST AND QUARTZITE WHILE THE GRANITIC ROCKS ARE PRINCIPALLY COARSE-GRAINED GRANODIORITE.
