Comment (Deposit): A LITTLE SCHEELITE IS REPORTED TO OCCUR IN A GOLD-BEARING QUARTZ VEIN 2 TO 8 FT THICK IN MICA SCHIST. THE VEIN AND- THE ENCLOSING SCHIST STRIKE N-S TO N20E AND DIP 20 TO 50 E. I-N 1943, A HIGH-GRADE BAND OF SCHEELITE ABOUT 1 FT WIDE WAS EXP-OSED IN THE SHAFT AND A SMALL QUANTITY OF MATERIAL ESTIMATED T-O CONTAIN 0.1 TO 0.2 % WO3 WAS EXPOSED IN AN UNDERHAND STOPE B-ELOW THE LOWER ADIT. THERE HAS BEEN NO RECORDED PRODUCTION OF -TUNGSTEN ORE FROM THE PROPERTY.
