Comment (Location): LOCATED ABOUT 1 MILE SOUTH OF THE KELLY RANCH ON THE EAST SIDE OF WATER CANYON AND AT THE BASE OF A STEEP SLOPE. LOCATED WITHIN THE CIBOLA NATIONAL FOREST.

Comment (Production): DURING WORLD WAR I ABOUT 850 TONS OF SORTED ORE CONTAINING MORE THAN 40 % MN WAS PRODUCED. SMALL PRODUCTION OF UNKNOWN TONNAGE AND GRADE OCCURRED IN THE EARLY 1940'S. FROM 1953 TO 1954 18.5 LONG TONS OF SORTED ORE AVERAGING 29.5 % MN WAS PRODUCED AND IN 1958 ABOUT 100 TONS OF MINE DUMPS WERE CONCENTRATED IN A SMALL GRAVITY MILL NEAR SOCORRO, N.M.

Comment (Deposit): DEPOSIT OCCURS AS A LENTICULAR MASS ALONG A NORTHEAST-STRIKING FRACTURE ZONE. KNOWN LENGTH OF THE DEPOSIT IS 60 FT., WIDTH RANGES FROM 2 FT. TO 25 FT. AND DEPTH ABOUT 80 FT. 2UNPATENTED CLAIMS.

Comment (Workings): WORKINGS REPORTED IN 1961 WERE INACCESSIBLE AND CONSISTED OF AN ADIT, AN INCLINED SHAFT, TWO WINZES, AND SEVERAL HUNDRED FEET OF LATERAL WORK ON THE ADIT LEVEL.
