Comment (Location): NEAR THE HEAD OF EDDY CREEK

Comment (Development): 11 PATENTED CLAIMS, 6 UNPATENTED CLAIMS. DURING 1961 DEVELOPMENT WAS RENEWED AND SEVERAL CAVED ADITS WERE REOPENED; DIAMOND DRILL HOLES WERE ALSO MADE.

Comment (Deposit): MINERALIZATION OCCURS IN NW STRIKING QUARTZ VEINS THAT RANGE IN WIDTH FROM A FEW INCHES TO 8 FEET. MANY OF THE VEINS DIP NE, BUT A FEW TEND TO BE VERTICAL. THE VEINS OCCUR IN BOTH THE DIORITE AND THE ARGILLITE. MINERALIZATION IS VERY MINOR IN THE QUARTZ MASSES, CONSISTING MOSTLY OF IRON OXIDE AND A FEW SMALL GRAINS OF GALENA.

Comment (Workings): WORKINGS CONSIST OF SEVERAL CAVED ADITS AND DISCOVERY PITS.

Comment (Geology): ARGILLITE WEATHERS A DEEP BROWN AND HAS A BANDED APPEARANCE. ARGILLITE GENERALLY STRIKES N 30 TO 40 DEG W AND DIPS 29 DEG TO 85 DEG SW.
