Comment (Development): THIS MINE WAS PROBABLY OPENED IN THE 1800'S, AND OPERATED FOR SILVER AND/OR GOLD; NO KNOWN PRODUCTION OR INFORMATION

Comment (Geology): A barite vein, trending N72W, and dipping 52NE. containing radioactive minerals, is exposed in the old Hardin shaft and in cuts to the east. (Sunshine files)

Comment (Location): MINE ON SOUTHERN TRIBUTARY TO OPHIR CREEK NEAR JUNCTION WITH MAMMOTH GULCH; THIS MAY BE THE ADIT JUST SOUTH OF HARDIN'S SAWMILL, IN THE NW/4 SEC.30, T 23 S, R 69 W. INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1976)

Comment (Location): The claims are described as located on the divide at the head of Williams Creek, which may be about 1/2 mile SW of Hardin's sawmill, or in the NE/4 sec. 25, T 23 S, R 70 W. (Sunshine files)
