Comments

Comment (Production): ELSTON REPORTED 0.2 OZ OF GOLD PRODUCED IN 1916 AND WILLIAMS REPORTED ONE RAIL CAR OF FLUORSPAR PRODUCED A FEW YEARS LATER. MINE WAS REPORTED TO PRODUCE IN 1910, 1916 AND 1925.

Comment (Workings): WORKINGS REPORTED IN 1927 TO CONSIST OF 2 ADITS WITH ABOUT 500 FT OF DRIFTS AND 150 FT WINZE. THE MINE WAS DEVELOPED BY A 300-400 FT ADIT AND A 300 FT CROSSCUT, WHICH LATER FOLLOWED THE VEIN FOR 200 ADDITIONAL FT. A 100 FT DEEP WINZE WAS SUNK NEAR THE CONTACT OF THE CROSSCUT WITH THE VEIN.

Comment (Deposit): THIS RECORD CONTAINS DATA FROM RECORD D009816 BY RONALD G. WORL WHICH HAS BEEN DELETED FROM MRDS. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT

Comment (Deposit): DEPOSIT CONSISTS OF FISSURE VEINS RANGING FROM A FEW INCHES TO 5 FT. THICK IN A NORTHEAST TO NORTH TRENDING BRECCIA ZONE CONTAINING NUMEROUS CAVITIES. FLUORITE COATS AND CEMENTS THE BRECCIA FRAGMENTS. ALSO THERE ARE SMALL AMOUNTS OF BARITE, QUARTZ, CALCITE, AND GALENA. TWO PATENTED CLAIMS AND THREE UNPATENTED CLAIMS MINERAL SURVEY NUMBER 1849 COVERING 82.685 ACRES.

Comment (Location): ACCURATE LOCATION IS FOR THE MAIN WORKINGS ON THE OCTOROON CLAIM. PROPERTY IS PATENTED AND IS LOCATED WITHIN THE ISLETA INDIAN RESERVATION. ; INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1975)
