Comment (Workings): THE WORKINGS CONSIST OF A SHALLOW SHAFT, FROM THE BOTTOM OF WHICH AN INCLINE CUTS ACROSS THE VEIN; A SHAFT ABOUT 200 FT DEEP, WITH DRIFTS AND CROSSCUTS DEVELOPED AT THE 100 AND 200 FT LEVELS; AND AN ADIT, WINZE, AND INCLINE THAT CONNECT THE DEEP SHAFT WITH THE SURFACE AT A POINT 45 FT BELOW THE COLLAR OF THE SHAFT. SEVERAL PITS WERE DUG BY THE PROSPECTORS AND TRENCHES AND CORE-DRILL HOLES WERE MADE BY THE USBM IN EXPLORING THE DEPOSIT.

Comment (Deposit): Discovery Year: EARLY 1900'S

Comment (Deposit): FLUORITE OCCURS WITH BARITE, CALCITE, DOLOMITE, QUARTZ, AND MINOR GALENA AND MALACHITE IN A BRECCIA VEIN ADJACENT TO A TRACHYTE DIKE IN QUARTZITE. THE ORE BODY IS 195 FT LONG AND ABOUT 13 FT WIDE. IT NARROWS TO ABOUT 11 FT AT THE 100 FT LEVEL AND 3 FT AT THE 200 FT LEVEL.
