Comment (Deposit): WORCESTER (1919) DESCRIBES MO OCCURRING AS SMALL IRREGULAR GRAINS AND AGGREGATES IN POCKETS IN PEGMATITE. WEST SHAFT WAS SUNK ON CONTAC T BETWEEN GRANITE AND COARSE-GRAINED PEGMATITE. THIS "VEIN" COULD ACTU ALLY BE SKARN DEPOSIT SIMILAR TO THAT DESCRIBED AT COPPER KING MINE JU ST TO SOUTH BY SIMS AND OTHERS (1958), AS IT SUPPOSEDLY CONTAINED LARG E QUANTITIES OF MAGNETITE.
