Comment (Development): NO REPORTS AVAILABLE ON GEOLOGY, ORES, OR MINING HISTORY OF DISTRICT. COLORADO DIV. MINES ANNUAL REPORT STATES THAT QUESTION OF TITLE ON SPANISH LAND GRANT (TIERRA AMARILLA) HAD GREATLY RETARDED PROSPECTING. COMPANY THAT CONTROLLED 60000 ACRES THERE PROMULGATED SET OF MINING REGULATIONS SIMILAR TO THE STATE'S AND OPENED LAND TO PROSPECTING. IF REPORTS WERE ACCURATE, FINDS WERE WORTHY OF INVESTIGATION.

Comment (Deposit): ALTHOUGH NO GEOLOGIC REPORT IS AVAILABLE FOR DISTRICT, MINERALIZATION COULD BE SIMILAR TO THAT AT CRATER DISTRICT AND RELATED TO SYSTEM OF DIKES AND FAULTS SUBRADIAL FROM PLATORO CALDERA. LIPMAN AND HAIL MAPPED ZONES OF ALTERATION (TYPE UNKNOWN) IN VENT AND VOLCANICLASTIC FACIES OF CONEJOS FM IN AREA AROUND TWO (POSSIBLY SAME) N 20 E TRENDING DIKES AND SMALL STOCK WITHIN AND JUST NE OF DISTRICT. ORE MINERALS UNKNOWN BUT IF SIMILAR TO CRATER DISTRICT COULD INCLUDE ARGENTIFEROUS(?) GALENA, SPHALERITE, CHALCOPYRITE, PYRITE.
