Comment (Deposit): LIMESTONE, SANDSTONE, AND SHALE OF MIDDLE HERMOSA FM STRIKE NE AND DIP 14 NW AT MINE AREA. SEQUENCE CUT BY HORNBLENDE LATITE PORPHYRY SILLS AND BY BLACKHAWK FAULT OR BRANCHES OF IT, TRENDING GENERALLY N 50 W AND DOWNDROPPED 65 FT ON NE. VEIN CARRIES SULFIDES AND PYRITE IN GANGUE OF QUARTZ AND CALCITE. PRESENCE OF REPLACEMENT-TYPE DEPOSIT ASSOCIATED WITH FAULT AND SILLS IS UNCONFIRMED.
