Comment (Workings): JAHNS (1946) REPORTS WORKINGS CONSISTING OF TWO OPEN PITS, TWO ADITS, AND SEVERAL SMALL CUTS. THE MAIN PIT IS 63 FT LONG, 15-30 FT WIDE, AND 30 FT DEEP. THE SMALLER PIT IS 28 FT LONG, 23 FT WIDE, AND 30 FT DEEP.

Comment (Geology): THE DEPOSIT OCCURS IN THE PETACA SCHIST MEMBER OF THE ORTEGA QUARTZITE.

Comment (Location): LOCATION IS ACCURATE FOR THE MAIN PIT. ; INFO FROM LAND.ST :1979

Comment (Production): JAHNS ALSO REPORTS PRODUCTION DURING 1920 TO 1925 OF SEVERAL HUNDRED POUNDS BISMUTITE, AND PROBABLY AS MUCH AS 5,000 POUNDS OF COLUMBITE, SAMARSKITE AND MONAZITE.

Comment (Deposit): THE DEPOSIT LOOKS LIKE A BOOMERANG IN PLAN VIEW. THE BROAD WEST LIMB TRENDS EAST-WEST AND DIPS STEEPLY SOUTH. THE NARROW SOUTH LIMB STRIKES N 15 E AND DIPS STEEPLY WEST.
