Comment (Workings): LINDGREN REPORTS IN 1905 THAT A LITTLE UNDERGROUND DEVELOPMENT HAD BEEN DONE.

Comment (Deposit): THE ORE OCCURS MAINLY AS MALACHITE WITH SMALL AMOUNTS OF AZURITE. THE ORE RUNS ABOUT THE SAME AS THE ORE AT THE BLAKE MINE BUT IS MORE POCKETY. THE ORE GRADE RANGES FROM 1.5 TO 5.0 PERCENT COPPER. THE COPPER OCCURS MAINLY IN THE CALCITE AND DOLOMITE IN NARROW BANDS PARALLEL TO THE BEDDING, GIVING THE ORE A STRIPED APPEARANCE. THE ORE TENDS TO BE FOUND IN THE FINER-GRAINED MATERIAL NEXT TO COARSER LAYERS OF ROCK.
