Comment (Workings): THE LENGTH OF WORKINGS INCLUDES ADJACENT MINES. THE MINE IS DEVELOPED BY TWO SURFACE SHAFTS, FOUR UNDERGROUND WINZES WITH DRIFTS AND CROSSCUTS. NO. 1 SHAFT IS 1,850 FEET DEEP WITH NINE LEVELS. NO. 2 SHAFT IS 1,800 FEET DEEP; IT IS USE FOR VENTILATION AND ESCAPE. THE LOWEST LEVEL IS AT 3,050 FEET BELOW THE SURFACE.
