Comments

Comment (Location): SECTION SUBDIVISIONS SW 1/4 NW 1/4 SW 1/4 SECTION 10

Comment (Deposit): URANIUM OCCURS IN THE STRUCTURE OF OPALINE SILICA IN FRACTURE FILLINGS IN TUFF. THE EXPOSED LENGTH OF ONE ZONE OF OPAL IS 70 FT LONG X 6 FT WIDE

Comment (Workings): WORKINGS CONSIST OF A SMALL OPEN CUT THAT IS 75 FT LONG X 40 FT WIDE, AND A SHALLOW SHAFT (15 FT DEEP)

Comment (Geology): THE OPAL IN FRACTURE FILLINGS IS GENERALLY ZONED, THE ZONING BEING DEFINED BY VARING SIZE OF FIBROUS CRYSTALLITES ORIENTED PERPENDICULAR TO THE WALLS OF THE VEINS ; GEOL.DESC: DEPOSITS ARE NUMEROUS STEEP-DIPPING SMALL VEINS AND URANIFEROUS OPAL.

Comment (Deposit): THE URANIFEROUS OPAL FLUORESES BRIGHT YELLOW-GREEN UNDER ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT, WHICH CAN BE USED TO DISTINGUISH IT FROM NON-URANIFEROUS OPAL IN THE DISTRICT ; INFO.SRC : 3 FIELD OBSERV
