Comment (Commodity): THE ORE IS SOLID AND COMPACT AND CONSISTING ALMOST ENTIRELY OF SULPHIDES.

Comment (Location): INCLUDES THE CONTENTION, KEYSTONE, FREEDOM, FORTUNE, BROOKS, CHESTER AND CONCHISE TUNNELS. THE MINE IS NOW BURIED BY THE WASTE DUMPS OF THE BINGHAM OPEN PIT.

Comment (Deposit): ALONG THE LOWER CONTACT OF THE FORTUNE SILL WITH THE CALCAREOUS MEMBERS. CONSIST OF SIX VEINS: ABE LINCOLN, WINNEBAGO, SIERRA GRANDE, FORTUNA, MAYFLOWER, AND THE WEASEL VEIN.

Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: QUARTZITE LIES ABOVE AND BELOW THE FORTUNE SILL WITH A THIN LIMESTONE IN THE LOWER CONTACT BETWEEN THE SILL AND QUARTZITE. THE LOWER CONTACT IS ALSO A ZONE OF MOVEMENT FORMING A TOUGH CLAY - LIKE GOUGE.
