Comment (Geology): GILA CONGLOMERATE HAS NOT BEEN WARPED OR DISLOCATED BY FAULTING. PLACER GOLD WAS DERIVED FROM OXIDIZED GOLD-BEARING VEINS ASSOCIATTED WITH A PORPHYRY SILL BETWEEN QUARTZITE AND LIMESTONE ON THE RIDGE BETWEEN CHASE CREEK AND MORENCI CANYON.
