Comment (Geology): THE SCHIST IS STRIPED, BROWNISH IN COLOR, AND RESEMBLES FINE-GRAINED ARKOSE. IT STRIKES N30W AND DIPS 80 NE. SEVERAL DIORITE-PORPHYRY DIKES UP TO A FEW FEET IN WIDTH CUT THE SCHIST.
