Comment (Workings): TWO SMALL 15-FT. PARTIALLY CAVED SHAFTS, 2 LARGE BENCH CUTS, EXTENSIVE SURFACE BULLDOZING.
Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: ORE CONSISTS OF POCKETS AND LENSES OF CHIEFLY BOTRYIODAL, NODULAR PSILOMELANE; SOME PYROLUSITE IN MASSIVE META-CHERT. META-CHERT IN PART FINE GRAINED QUARTZITE; IN PART UNRECRYSTALLIZED CHERT AND IS CUT BY A FEW SMALL QUARTZ VEINLETS. THE METACHERT IS ENCLOSED IN QUARTZ SERICITE SCHIST; SOME OF WHICH RESEMBLING META-TUFF. SOME PARTIALLY OXIDIZED PINK RHODONITE IS EXPOSED IN THE META CHERT.
