Comment (Workings): MAIN VEIN: 2 SHAFTS 400 FT APART. N SHAFT 200 FT DEEP, S SHAFT 335 FT. THEY ARE CONNECTED ON 100 FT LEVEL. ALSO DRIFTS ON 100 M220 AND 300 FT LEVEL. 2ND VEIN WAS MINED BY OPEN PIT AND 200 FT INCLINED SHAFT.

Comment (Geology): 2 - 18 FT THICK VEIN; ALSO 2ND VEIN W DIPS 10 W. MAIN VEIN VARIES FROM 5 1/2 - 8 FT ON 100 FT LEVEL, & FROM 12 - 18 FT ON 200 FT LEVEL. THE QZ LEDGER IS STRATIFIED W SLATE & QUARTZITE.
