MINE REOPENED IN 1934, MILL WAS ALTERED, AND OPERATED UNTIL 1941. ORE MINED 1928-31 YIELDED FROM $1.80 TO $6.40 PER TON. ORE MINED LATER ON WAS EVEN LOWER IN VALUE.

Comment (Workings): MAIN 1700FT. DRIFT ADIT, ANOTHER 700FT. DRIFT ADIT ABT. 300FT. ABOVE MAIN ADIT. THESE ARE CONNECTED BY A RAISE. ALSO A 42FT. SHAFT NEAR MAIN ADIT PORTAL; MILL.

Comment (Deposit): DEPOSIT IS IN MARIPOSA SLATE ASSOCIATED WITH NARROW BANDS OF AMPHIBOLITE AND SERPENTINE. THE FORMATION ARE MUCH DISTURBED BY FAULTING.
