Comment (Production): EUREKA CLAIM WORKED IN EARLY GOLD RUSH DAYS AND AT LATER INTERVALS UNTIL 1908. BEEBE CLAIM FIRST PROSPECTED IN 1917. FROM 1932-39 PROPERTY PRODUCED $1,200,465 FROM 306,341 TONS OF ORE. AFTER 1939 ONLY A SMALL AMOUNT OF GOLD PRODUCED FROM CLEANUP OPERATIONS.

Comment (Deposit): MINE IS A CONSOLIDATION OF A NUMBER OF CLAIMS AND WAS ONCE ONE OF THE LARGER SOURCES OF GOLD IN THE COUNTY. WORKINGS ARE SHOWN IN NW COR. SEC. 11 ON USGS QUAD.
