Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: ORE IN PROBABLE LANDSLIDE AREA ON A SMALL KNOLL OF BROWN AND WHITE WELL BEDDED CHERT. HIGH GRADE MANGANESE OXIDE ORE OCCURS AS FRAGMENTS IN S.E. END OF CHERT EXPOSURE. ONLY ORE IN PLACE IS A FEW THIN STRINGERS IN CHERT.
