Comment (Production): POOLE RECOVERED SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS IN GOLD WITH A HAND MORTOR AT DISCOVERY SITE. WORKED BY POOLE IN 1870'S AND LIVE OAK MINING CO. DURING 1880'S. LAST WORK KNOWN TO HAVE BEEN DONE IN 1909. MUCH OF ORE RAN FROM $4-$50/TON. NO SPECIFIC PRODUCTION RECORD FOUND.
