BASALT OCCURS AS SILL WHOSE EXPANDED LENGTH IS ABOUT 600 FT., ESTIMATED 300 FT. THICK. SILL HAS WESTERLY TREND AND DIPS 20 N., INTO HILLSIDE. MINERALIZATION ZONE SURROUNDS SILL, AND IS AS MUCH AS 500 FT. WIDE, TRACED ALONG STRIKE 800 FT. NICKEL-BEARING MINERALS ARE MILLERITE, PENTLANDITE, PYRRHOTITE, AND ASSOCIATED COPPER MINERALS ARE CHALCOPYRITE, MALACHITE, AZURITE, AND CUPRITE. ORE BODY IS ABOUT 800 FT. LONG, AVERAGES 300 FT. WIDE, AND 300 FT. THICK
