THE TWO VEINS ARE FORMED AT CONTACT BETWEEN MASSIVE BLUE LIMESTONE AND MICA - SCHIST. SCHIST IS 1 - 4 FT. THICK. AT VARIOUS POINTS ALONG WORKINGS IS A LIGHT - COLORED DECOMPOSED ROCK RESEMBLING A FELSITE.

Comment (Commodity): CERUSSITE IN IRON AND MANGANESE OXIDE GANGUE.

Comment (Production): RECORDED PRODUCTION 1891 - 1940 INTERMITTENT - SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNTS OF COPPER AND GOLD RECOVERED IN ADDITION TO LEAD AND SILVER.

Comment (Deposit): VEINS OCCUR IN SHEAR ZONE 1/2 MILE LONG
