OF CLAIM & IS THE W PROLONGATION OF GABBRO-SERPENTINE COMPLEX OF SE PART OF DISTRICT. SMALL OUTCROPS OF SERPENTINE. 4 VEINS ON PROPERTY. EASTERN CROSS & JEWEL DIP TO NE, EASTERN STAR & WESTERN CROSS TO THE NW. POSSIBLE REVERSE DISPLACEMENT ON EASTERN CROSS FISSURE NOT MORE THAN 50 FT. ADIT ACCESSIBLE IRREGULAR VEIN HAS 30-70 DEG. DIP, FOLLOWS WELL-DEFINED SLIP, W GABBRO HANGING WALL, SCHIST FOOTWALL. SOMETIMES NO QTZ. ELSE WHERE 6 IN - 2 FT THICK. WHERE COUNTRY ROCK IS GABBRO, THERES EXTENSIVE CARBONATE ALTERATION OF WALL ROCK. 2 REVERSE FAULTS, & DIP OF VEIN MAYBE DUE TO FAULT DRAG. MINOR THRUSTS ALONG VEIN PLANE. ON EASTERN STAR, SERPENTINE FOOTWALL ALTERED FOR A FEW FEET TO CARBONATE-MARIPOSITE, NEAR SILICIFIED SCHIST: VEIN IS CRUSHED ZONE IN SCHIST 3 FT THICK, STRIKES N 12 W DIPS 60 W. JEWEL VEIN ON W PART OF PROPERTY, STRIKES N 55 W, DIPS 75 NE.
