Comment (Workings): 260 FT SHAFT & 300 FT OF DRIFTS ON SAVANNAH NO. 1 , 160 FT SHAFT & 100 FT OF DRIFTS ON SAVANNAH NO. 2 , ON WIDE AWAKE IS 120 FT ADIT AND SURFACE CUTS. ON JOE CLAIM IS 260 FT SHAFT W/300 FT OF DRIFTS. A LATER 200 FT ADIT AND 200 ADDITIONAL FEET OF DRIFTS. 10 STAMP MILL.

Comment (Geology): QUARTZ AT BOTTOM OF SHAFT SHOWED DISTINCT BANDED STRUCTURE, RESEMBLING CLEAVAGE OF ENCLOSING SLATE. IN GENERAL, QUARTZ IS GRANULAR AND VITRIOUS.
