Comment (Deposit): THE EASTERN GROUP OF PROSPECTS CONSISTS OF: 1) UPPER ADIT (25'LONG)IN BIOTITE QUARTZ DIORITE-SMALL TRENCH JUST ABOVE ADIT ID FILLED IN-HAS SCATTERED FLOAT OF QUARTZ W/LIMONITE (ELEV.N 5040') 2) 1-6 ADIT IN BIOTE QUARTZ DIORITE AND 3 CAVED PITS OR ADITS IN A QUARTZ-SERICITE-RICH SCHISTOSE SHEAR ZONE-ZONE STRIKES N.18 DEGREE E/75-80 DEGREES WESTERLY DIP-NO VISIBLE ECONOMIC MINERALOGY CRANGE IN ELEVATION FROM 4960' TO 4990'). THE WESTERN GROUP OF PROSPECTS CONSISTS OF ONE 33' ADIT IN APLITE WITH CLAY SEAMS, ONE ADIT OF 21' LENGTH DRIVEN IN A SCHISTOSE SHEAR ZONE WITH SCATTERED QUARTZ STRINGERS ALONG HANGING WALL CONTACT. IT HAS A RAISE PENETRATING THE SURFACE BUT THIS OPENING COULD HAVE BEEN CAUSED BY CAVE IN. BELOW THIS AREA (DUE SOUTH) APPROXIMATELY 150' ABOVE ROADWAY IS A NARROW TRENCH (5' LONG & FROM 21/4' WIDE WHICH EXPLORED A HEMATITE-RICH VEIN WITH AZURITE-MALACHITE STAIN. STRIKE OF VEIN N.45 DEGREES W-NEARLY VERTICAL WITH HANGING AND FOOT WALLS OF BIOTITE QUARTZ DIORITE ;
