Comment (Geology): THE SHEAR ZONES ARE FILLED WITH QUARTZ AND BRECCIA VEINS. SOME OF THE VEINS HAVE FINE-GRAINED PYRITE,OTHERS HAVE MINOR COPPER SHOWS. ALL OF THE VEINS CONTAIN IRON-OXIDES.

Comment (Deposit): MUCH OF THE EQUIPMENT,INCLUDING COMPRESSORS,ARE STILL ON THE MOUNTAIN;LOOKS TO HAVE BEEN THERE FOR MANY YEARS.

Comment (Location): 1.5 MI SO. MT. GRANT

Comment (Workings): OLD WORKINGS HAVE BEEN DOZED TO EXTINCTION LEAVING LARGE OPEN-CUT AND PITS ALONG THE SOUTH SIDE OF MT. GRANT. SOME OLDER WORKINGS REMAIN TO THE EAST AND FURTHER DOWN THE MOUNTAIN. THE OLDER WORKINGS WERE DRIVEN ON SHEAR ZONES.
