Comments

Comment (Production): TRUCKED TO DEMING PURCHASING DEPOT EARLY IN 1955

Comment (Deposit): TWO PARALLEL FRACTURE ZONES 300 FT. APART, CONTAINING DISCONTINUOUS, NARROW STRINGERS OF HARD MANGANESE OXIDES IN MOST FRACTURE PLANES, WHICH SHOW GRADUAL REPLACEMENT OUTWARD FROM THE WALLS AND INCOMPLETE REPLACEMENT OF SOFTER WAD MANGANESE IN SHATTERED AREAS BETWEEN FRACTURES.

Comment (Deposit): FRACTURE ZONE PROBABLY EXTENDS TO EAST WHERE IT IS COVERED BY ALLUVIUM; SIMILIARITY OF MINERALS AND THE TREND OF FRACTURES SUGGEST THAT BLACK HAWK AND JEAN E ARE ON SAME FRACTURE ZONE. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT

Comment (Commodity): PROBABLY ON SAME FRACTURE ZONE AS JEAN E GROUP.

Comment (Workings): AT LEAST 15 PITS AND CUTS; A FEW PITS WERE 10 TO 18 FT. DEEP.
