Comment (Workings): A SHAFT WAS SUNK TO A DEPTH OF 300 FT, AND, AT THE 100 FT AND 200 FT LEVELS, DRIFTS WERE DRIVEN ALONG THE VEIN. AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SHAFT, A CROSSCUT WAS DRIVEN 800 FT EASTWARD TO INTERSECT THE FIRST THOUGHT VEIN (RECORD NO. M056613). NEAR THE SHAFT COLLAR, A 650 FT ADIT WAS DRIVEN IN A SOUTHEASTERLY DIRECTION.

Comment (Geology): GEOL.DESC: FISSURE QUARTZ

Comment (Commodity): PRODUCTION IN 1920, 1921, AND 1924.

Comment (Production): ORE WAS OF UNKNOWN QUANITY AND WAS HAND SORTED.

Comment (Deposit): ORE SHOOTS AS MUCH AS 2-4 FT THICK AND 200 FT LONG.

Comment (Deposit): CLAIM ORIGINALLY STAKED AS THE RUBY LODE WAS SOLD TO JOHNATHAN BOURNE JR, WHO PATENTED IT IN 1904 AS THE LAST CHANCE LODE. IN 1920 THE MINE WAS REOPENED.
