Comment (Location): THERE ARE TWO DEPOSITS LOCATED IN DEVILS CANYON, WHICH RUNS INTO SAN CARPOJARA CREEK, ON EVANS RANCH. ; INFO FROM LAND.ST :(1958)

Comment (Deposit): SERPENTINE UNDER THE CHROMITE FLOAT CONTAINS GRAINS OF DISSEMINATED CHROMITE, SO THE FLOAT IS PROBABLY THE RESIDUAL REMNANT OF A SMALL ORE BODY.

Comment (Workings): CHROMITE FLOAT EXPOSED WITHIN AN AREA TEN FT. IN DIAMETER IN NW 1/4 SEC. 26, T. 24S., R. 6E.
