Comment (Workings): WORKINGS CONSIST OF AN OPEN CUT 60 FT LONG, 6 FT WIDE 3 TO 6 FT DEEP AND A 25 FT DEEP SHAFT WITH TWO SHORT DRIFTS. THE SHAFT IS FLOODED (1948)
Comment (Geology): THE DEPOSIT IS LOCATED IN A NW TRENDING, IRREGULORLY EXPOSED BELT OF HIGHLY SHEARED SERPENTINE WHICH IS 5-6 KM WIDE AND APPROX. 40 KM LONG. THE BELT IS BORDERED BY PRE-CRET. METAVOLC. AND META SED. ROCKS, PLEISTOCENE ALLUVIVM AND MESO. GRANODIORITE INTRUSIVES.
