Comments

Comment (Workings): MAGNETITE & HEMATITE OCCUR IN ECHELON, VEINLIKE BODIES ALONG FAULT ZONES IN HORNBLENDE DIORITE NEAR A CONTACT WITH LIMESTONE. THE BODIES ARE 2 OR 3 FEET WIDE AND GENERALLY LESS THAN 50 FEET LONG, THEY TREND EAST. THE LARGEST ORE BODY OCCURS AT THE INTERSECTION OF AN EAST-TRENDING FAULT AND A NORTHEAST-TRENDING CROSS-FAULT. ORE IS SHEARED BY CROSS-FAULTING
