Comment (Workings): WORKINGS CONSIST OF TWO SHORT ADITS AND SEVERAL PITS LOCATED ON ZONE OF QUARTZ STRINGERS AND VEINLETS WHICH CUT BRECCIATED RHYOLITE WELDED TUFF, SILICEOUS AND CARBONACEOUS SHALE, PEBBLY SANDSTONE OF THE HARTFORD HILL RHYOLITE. ROCKS IN VEIN ZONE ARE SILICIFIED AND CUT BY VEINLETS OF VUGGY QUARTZ. DISSEM PYRITE OCCURS IN VEINLETS AND WALL ROCKS. MANGANESE OXIDES COAT FRACTURES. THIS AREA IS WITHIN A LARGE BLOCK OF PATENTED MINING CLAIMS ORGINALLY PATENTED BY THE BAY STATE NEVADA GOLD MINING CO.
