BOX CANYON PLACER DEPOSITS WERE DISCOVERED ABOUT 1909. FIRST PRODUCTION WAS 38.34 OZ IN 1910 BY C. MILLER FROM THE GRANDVIEW CLAIMS. THE MANY CLAIMS ARE TREATED COLLECTIVELY HERE.
