WORKINGS IN CANYON WERE NOT HIGHLY PRODUCTIVE DUE TO THE GREAT DEPTH OF THE GRAVELS. A SHAFT NEAR BANNOCK REACHED BEDROCK AT ABOUT 119 FEET.
