Comment (Production): STANDARD SLAG WAS SHIPPING 25000 TONS PER MONTH TO JAPAN IN 1951-52. MORE RECENTLY, MINING OF LESSER TONNAGES HAS BEEN DONE AT IRREGULAR INTERVALS. PRINCIPAL PRODUCTION WAS 1949-1954.

Comment (Workings): THE IRON ORE WAS MINED BY OPEN PIT. THE LEAD-SILVER ORE WAS MINED BY THREE SHAFTS, A SHORT ADIT, AND SEVERAL OPEN CUTS.
