Comments

Comment (Location): UTM PRECISION 500 M

Comment (Workings): TUNNEL

Comment (Development): E. AFFRANCHINO DID SOME WORK ON THE TUNNEL IN THE EARLY 1960'S BUT THE SMALL AMOUNTS OF GOLD ORE ARE UNLIKE THE PB-AG ORE COMMON TO THE DISTRICT

Comment (Deposit): LOCATED IN LOWER NEW YORK CANYON WHICH WAS THE SITE OF THE INITIAL DISCOVERY IN THE DISTRICT. E. AFFRANCHINO OF EUREKA, DID SOME WORK ON THE TUNNEL IN THE EARLY 60'S, BUT THE RELATIVELY SMALL AMOUNTS OF GOLD-RICH ORE APPEAR TO BE UNLIKE THE AG-PB ORE FOUND ELSEWHERE (NOLAN 1962) ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT

Comment (Deposit): GOLD ORE IS LOCALIZED BY BRECCIATED ZONES IN DOLOMITE

Comment (Geology): COLD ORE OCCURS IN BRECCIATED DOLOMITE
