Comment (Geology): THE CLAIMS ARE LOCATED IN ANCIENT LAKEBED GRAVELS. GOLD-BEARING GRAVELS, FOUND IN RAVINES IN THICKNESSES OF 2 TO 12 FEET, CHARACTERISTICALLY OVERLIE A FALSE BEDROCK OF CLAY, WHICH OVERLIE BARREN GRAVELS. GOLD OCCURS AS FLAT NUGGETS.
