Comment (Location): N. CENTER, SEC 1; E. SLOPE PUEBLO MOUNTAINS

Comment (Development): NO ACTIVITY AT TIME OF EXAMINATION IN 1984.

Comment (Geology): A LARGE MASS OF QUARTZ AT LEAST 50 FT. WIDE OUTCROPS ON ONE CLAIM, CONTAINING OXIDES OF IRON, MANGANESE AND COPPER.

Comment (Deposit): MAIN WORKINGS ARE ON A 20-FT WIDE QUARTZ VEIN IN GRANODIORITE. VEIN CONTAINS MASSES OF CU SULFIDES AND OXIDES ALONG FRACTURES, AS CLOTS, AND WITHIN THE MATRIX OF A BRECCIA. THESE VEINS ARE REPORTED TO HAVE SOME SILVER MINERALIZATION ALONG WITH THE COPPER, ALTHOUGH NONE WAS OBSERVED. THE ADIT AND THE INCLINE HAVE EXPOSED ONLY A SMALL PART OF THE VEIN. SAMPLE 2980 WAS CUT FROM THE EXPOSED PORTION OF THE VEIN WITHIN THE MAIN ADIT AND INCLUDED CHALCOPYRITE, CHALCOCITE, AND CU OXIDE MINERALS IN A QUARTZ BRECCIA.

Comment (Workings): ADITS WITHOUT TIMBER OR TRACK, WITH ORE PLIED UP ON DUMPS; ONE INCLINE AND SEVERAL PROSPECTED AREAS.
